PAT – Portable Appliance Testing
Our PAT Testing service, also known as Portable Appliance Testing, is designed to service your entire property.
We can check for electrical faults or potentially dangerous electrical items that could lead to your workplace being deemed unsafe according to legislation. The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 states that: ‘any electrical equipment that has the potential to cause injury or harm must be maintained and kept in a safe condition’ which is backed by the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
To ensure you’re fully compliant with UK legislation, and ensuring staff and visitor safety, our fully qualified and experienced PAT Testing engineers can conduct a thorough examination of all portable electrical appliances on your premises. At R&H electrical, wherever possible, our engineers will offer free repairs for minor problems such as fuses, plug tops and IEC leads, saving you the cost of failing and having to schedule another PAT Test. If more serious faults are discovered, they will work with you to find a solution.
